Wrap Works – Terms & Conditions

These terms are here to make sure everyone knows what to expect before, during, and after your kitchen wrapping project.

1. About Our Service

Kitchen wrapping is a cosmetic update, not a full refurbishment. It’s designed to refresh the look of your kitchen using vinyl wrap, and the final result will depend on the condition of the existing surfaces.

2. Quotes & Bookings

  • Quotes are based on the information and photos provided and are valid for 30 days

  • If we discover additional issues once work begins (such as damage or extra prep needed), the quote may need to be adjusted

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due once the job is complete

3. Condition of Surfaces

Vinyl wrap follows the shape of what’s underneath it.

  • Existing damage such as dents, chips, scratches, worn edges, or uneven surfaces may still be visible after wrapping. We do our best to highlight these areas and repair as best as possible.

  • Wrapping will not hide or repair structural or cosmetic damage that can't be repaired

  • These are not considered faults with our work

4. Existing Vinyl Finishes

Many existing modern kitchen units are covered in thermolaminated vinyl.

  • Old vinyl, glue, or finishes may fail over time and affect the new wrap

  • Any lifting or bubbling caused by underlying materials is outside our control

5. Silicone Sealant & Edges

Vinyl does not stick to silicone sealant, which is commonly found around sinks, worktops, panels, and joints.

  • We will remove or trim silicone where we reasonably can and renew after the wrapping

  • There may be some touch up painting required

  • We may apply additional silicone along seams and edges for cosmetic enhancement.

  • Any future re-siliconing may affect wrapped edges

6. Installation & Finish

We take care to achieve a neat, professional finish. However:

  • Minor seams, joins, or small imperfections can occur and are normal with vinyl wrapping

  • Colour and finish may vary slightly from samples or photos due to lighting and material batches

7. Heat, Moisture & Everyday Use

Kitchens are high-use environments.

  • Excessive heat (from ovens, kettles, air fryers, etc.) can cause vinyl to lift or shrink

  • Steam, standing water, and harsh cleaners can reduce lifespan

  • Damage caused by heat, moisture, or misuse is not covered

8. Aftercare

Once the job is finished:

  • Once the Services are complete, ongoing care is your responsibility. Vinyl requires gentle cleaning with non-abrasive products and avoidance of excessive heat or moisture.

  • Damage due to improper cleaning, heat exposure, sharp objects, impact, or misuse is not covered by any guarantee.

Aftercare advice will be provided to help keep your wrap looking its best.

9. Repairs & Touch-Ups

Vinyl wrapping isn’t indestructible.

  • Small repairs may be possible, but exact colour or finish matches can’t always be guaranteed later

  • Normal wear and tear is expected over time

10. Cleaning Prior To The Commencement Of Works

Please ensure your kitchen is clean and tidy prior to your appointment, including the tops of cabinets and cornices. If any deep cleaning is required by us an extra charge is applicable.

11. Cancellations & Changes

If you need to cancel or change your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have already been ordered or time has been reserved.

12. Completion & Sign-Off

Once the work is completed, we’ll ask you to check everything over. If no issues are raised within 7 days, the work will be considered accepted

13. Our Guarantee

We take pride in our work and want you to feel confident choosing Wrap Works.

  • We guarantee that all wrapping will be carried out with reasonable care, using quality materials and proper installation methods

  • If any major issues arise due to our workmanship (such as significant peeling or lifting) within 12 months of installation, we’ll assess the problem and put it right where appropriate

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Issues caused by existing surface condition, old vinyl, paint, or underlying finishes

  • Damage from heat, moisture, steam, cleaning products, or everyday wear and tear

  • Impact damage, scratches, chips, or misuse after installation

This guarantee is intended to give peace of mind while recognising the nature of vinyl wrapping and kitchen environments.
